Kah'Lena Hayes

Hi, I’m Kah’Lena Hayes, and here’s a little background information about me.

I graduated high school from Golden Eagle Charter School while simultaneously attending Junior College at College of the Siskiyous. After obtaining my associate’s degree I then attended OIT in Klamath Falls majoring in business management. For a number of years, I’ve been able to Travel the Pacific Northwest spending my time day working for ranches, entering up in local rodeos, and team roping as well as exploring the beautiful wilderness the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

I’ve been fortunate enough to have the capability of doing such by being co-owner of a family-run business, Prather Auto Sales, as well as owning my own rental property. I feel blessed to have this opportunity open up for me to represent the Newport Rodeo! I feel it is a perfect outlet for reaching out to our youth in a positive manner. Serving not only a role model, but a mentor as well, teaching our youth proper rodeo etiquette, horsemanship, and the true Western Way of Life.
