Application Information and Vendor Agreement

The application is neither an offer nor a guarantee of space. All questions on this application must be answered completely. Be sure the information you give is accurate, as it will be the sole representation of your business for the selection process.

Please attach a list of sale items including so we can limit duplications. if a contract is issued, it will be assigned on the basis of this list only, so please be thorough.

Fees for Vendors for 2024 will be $150 for the entire event. Please submit fees with this application. If you are not selected your check will be returned. Spaces are limited and will be assigned on a first-come basis.

The location of your vendor space will be determined by management. Locations are subject to change year to year.

Please Note the Following:

This year we ask that you sell only items approved on your contract. No other items will be allowed unless permission is given in writing by the Newport Rodeo Association.

You will be required to operate within your assigned space. No space will be guaranteed until assigned at check-in.

The event gates will be locked 1-hour prior to the public opening and remain locked until all patrons have left. Please make arrangements for supplies and such, as no vehicles will be allowed during these times. Rodeo Dates are June 19th, 20th, 21st, & 22nd.

The hours are as follows:

  • Wednesday, June 19th (Optional, Family Carnival Day)
  • Thursday, June 20th: All Vendors Open by 4:00 P.M.
  • Friday, June 21st: All Vendors Open by 4:00 P.M.
  • Saturday, June 22nd: All Vendors Open by 12:00 P.M.

Newport Rodeo Vendor Rules & Regulations

1. The contractor is an independent contractor, and rents the space for its own use and will not sub-lease. Any sublease or assignment will be void.

2. The contractor agrees that The City of Newport, and the Newport Rodeo Association shall not be responsible for any loss, damage or injury of any character to any property of the of the contractor or its agents or employees while on or at the rodeo grounds. Contractor bears all such risks to persons and properties by the contractor, its agents and employees.

3. FURTHER, the contractor agrees to hold harmless City of Newport, and the Newport Rodeo Association, its officials, employees, volunteers, and agents, jointly, severally, individually and privately from any and all liability arising under this agreement, including the cost of defending any and all claims or demands, arising out of this agreement or use of the grounds

4. This constitutes the sole, complete and binding agreement between the parties hereto. This Agreement may not be changed, modified, or altered except by an instrument in writing signed by the parties. This Agreement shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington.

5. All vehicles shall be out of vendor area 60 minutes prior to opening. Entry gates will be locked at that time. Any vehicles inside gates may be towed at owners expense.
